IN MEMORY OF MY LOVING MOTHER
 ZHENG-FANG TAO JUNG (1924 - 2000)

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh, Jesus’ love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And he came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread
And with Jesus’ arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth’s shadows,
Pray to trust our Father’s will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth –
You shall rest in Jesus’ land.

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!

You make motherhood look easy,
But, of course, we know it's not!
Just look all that you've been through
And at the kids you've got!
You're always adding extra love
To everything you do,
And now we hope that happiness
Will be returned to you!
Have a Happy Mother's Day
We love you so much and we know you love us!

Love,
Christine & Andy

"...And you become ever more thankful for the grace that surrounds your days,
not to insulate you from hurt,
but to enable you to become all that you hope you can be
and that God knows you can be. "
Finding Your Place After Divorce - Carole Sanderson Streeter

To live content with small means;
to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion;
to be worthy, not respectable;
and wealthy, not rich;
to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly;
to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart;
to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.
In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.
This is to be my symphony.
William Henry Channing (1810 - 1884)

My grace is sufficient for three; for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
 -- 2 Corinthians 12:9

"...For with God all things are possible."
-- Mark 10:27

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
-- Psalm 23: 1-3

"The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control ..."
- - Galatians 5:22, 23

The price of greatness is responsibility - Winston Churchill
